@HelmetAddict When was CCM the manufacturer? Found an old jersey at a thrift store in TN.

Manufacturing inconsistencies in the 70s led to quite a bit of variation in the rendering of the Sabres original crest on their jerseys. There were slight differences year to year. Most notably was the change when the Sabres switched jersey manufacturers for the 1977-1978 season when there was a very noticeable difference in the official logo and what the players wore. in 1983-1984, the Sabres went back to a crest on their jersey that was more accurate to their official logo. Today the Sabres wear an updated version of the original logo with more texture and a few of the details removed from the original design.

@BuffOnTheBrain I had a five game package and 300 level tickets were still like $275 a ticket plus fees. I passed on getting any this round. I might consider seasons at some point in future years, to get a real discount.

While I think the Ticketmaster relationship with selling pro sports teams tickets direct to consumer is not good at all, the benefits come when buying even a 5 game regular season package because you get priority to playoff tickets at normal seat prices.

Sabres should have picked white jerseys for the whole playoffs.

Today's helmet of the day is the defending class 7A Arkansas state champion, Bryant Hornets. The helmet is royal blue and features a block letter B with six stars. They won five state championships in a row from 2018-2022.

@HelmetAddict Cool! They were still using the NY logo in the 1980’s? Didn’t they start playing at the Meadowlands in the late 1970’s?

Helmet Of the day: The Buffalo Bulls. Originally established back in 1894, the Bulls suspended operations after the students voted to stop funding the program. It would return in 1977 as a division III team, finally moving up to Division I in 1999. The horn logo helmet was worn briefly from 2001-2005.

@studentbodyrght Any uniform being released this year would have approved by the league two years ago. There is no retooling if it is for this season.

Just saw the rendering of the new bills uniforms. Being told this rendering is still not a ‘go’ The other ‘uniform guy’ doesn’t have a line to the building. Take that info as cautionary. The rendering is grey and not great. Still in a retooling process it seems. #gobills #billsmafia
