I'm not embarrassed. I'm curious how they got those stats.
If they can genuinely identify these bots, we should expect the authorities to handle it better.
If these bots are pegging on big accounts (real or fake), why actions have not been taken yet?
.@ViggyStrdust
When 70% of your "popular support" turned out to be bots, I'd be embarrassed too.
English

@mhazone1988 Bro, there's no reinvention here.
The cars are already being built cheap in China. They just tax differently. The CKD plant is to bypass that.
Most of the jobs are automated. What tech inflow? Semua barang China.
English

@HelmiHarieri Cheaper meant low cost & can build more for society. Licensed prod is fine if it meant more plants & tech inflow which provide jobs. We dont need to reinvent the wheel & sold it higher. Engineering Ethics 101 teach you that engineering is for good of society in 1st year, LOL.
English

@HelmiHarieri The previous EV was all above 100k. The demand is for under 100k EV cars.
English

@kajidankritik Instead, we should allow foreign industries to squeeze us.
English

@HelmiHarieri Local industry needs to squeeze the local population in order to survive 😂
English

@mhazone1988 Cheaper price but at what cost? You are an engineer. Why don't we outsource all our manufacturing sectors elsewhere? We don't need you guys. We need cheap stuff.
Dumping ground? Who cares? It's cheap.
English

@HelmiHarieri Cheaper price via competition of course. Are you just playing dumb?
English

@ubimanis That's the point. Nak yakinkan orang yang belum guna. The cheaper EVs ie the city range EVs kena consider high rise occupants. Sebab ini bulk orang yg duduk bandar. Belum consider long distance travel
Indonesia

@HelmiHarieri The subsidy already reached more than double the budget. Leceh sebab belum guna, sape dah guna especially untuk rumah landed unlikely kata leceh.
English

@HelmiHarieri Unpopular opinions, millions of Malaysians benefits triumph over 2 companies not even owned by the country.
English

How do they classify and identify "online comments"? Is it every comment related to the such postings?
Idk how advanced social media listening tools these days.
M@MuniraMustaffa
Wow who would have thought 🤷🏻♀️
English

@SupremerZ @mhazone1988 Kita pun aware benda ni. Sebab tu 10 years ago, Proton dah explore deal dengan Geely. QV-E pun pakai bateri CATL. Tapi dia fikir pasal battery disposal model. Benda yg Chinese companies tak nak fikir. Sebab dia nak dump je stock dia.
Indonesia

@HelmiHarieri @mhazone1988 nobody has ability to counter this because China had planned everything 30 years ago, it was never overnight, there is no practical counter at all now. Countries will have to counter with 30 year plans and slowly bide their way out, but no democracy can achieve this.
English

@LuytenGliesee @amirullahakmal Yeah. The policymakers are not interested in selling cheap cars. They are interested in the industrial capacity of building cars and car parts.
English

@HelmiHarieri @amirullahakmal Local supply chains pun cronies. They'll protect each other and deliver us mediocre products at a premium price.
Don't forget that we are literally paying more for our cars because of P1 and P2
English

Buat diyat. Kalau dia tak boleh bayar, kerajaan bayarkan tapi dia kena jadi slave labor.
Usulkan pada ahli parlimen anda. Kalau dia tak sokong, kita buang dia. Kalau dia cakap sokong tapi tak bersuara dan tak bertindak , pun kita buang dia.

GRAPHIC CONTENT ADVISORY! TRIGGER WARNING! Aku jarang share benda camni tapi ni ada kena mengena dengan kejiranan aku. Keta yang tempias akibat kemalangan ni jiran2 aku. Kejadian tak sampai berapa ratus meter taman aku. Bayangkan 11:46 pagi ADA YANG MABUK BAWAK KETA CAMNI!
Indonesia

@SupremerZ @mhazone1988 Bukan kita nak lawan China. Kita nak salvage whatever capabilities yang kita ada untuk domestic and probably regional market. Tapi kalau rasa the auto industry tak penting, takpelah, bagi je lah diorang bolot semua.
Indonesia

@HelmiHarieri @mhazone1988 Malaysia will never build automotive capabilities because we just don’t have a market scale leverage. Not even the Germans can fight the Chinese, who are we? This is just pure tongkat for all the parts industries
English

@ubimanis There's also the psychological factors. Kalau benda melecehkan dia untuk guna, dia takkan beli walaupun murah. Sebab for most, the benefits do not outweight the risk.
Indonesia

@ubimanis Except in this case, it's not. CPOs are not making profits despite the previous EVs tax holiday. And at the current rate of adoption, the demand will never be good enough. We currently rely on the goodwill of GLCs like Petronas and TNB to provide infra across the country.
English

@mhazone1988 Millions of what? People who are not interested in building Malaysia's automotive capabilities?
English

@ubimanis The problem with EVs adoption is not cheaper EVs. It's the charging infra.
They can evolve if given the chance. But if BYD does not plan to source from local vendors, they won't get that chance. Cuma jadi tempat pasang je.
English

@HelmiHarieri More cheaper EV for consumers, less petrol subsidy. Local industry can evolve instead of cheating Malaysians from cheaper EV
English

@amirullahakmal Orang nampak Proton dan Perodua je. Dia tak nampak yang local supply chain ni.
Indonesia

@HelmiHarieri tu ah, nak salahkan Jo Ghani mentah2 takleh gak, its more than just their regulations
Indonesia

@NeoArmstrongNe1 I'm no expert either. Tapi similarities diorang lebih kepada anti-colonial / anti-Western liberal order.
Tapi framework tak sama. Asas communism / socialism pada materialism & class. Iran dgn Ikhwan ni, for the lack of a better term, Islamist.
Indonesia

@HelmiHarieri Ikhwan-inspired political dengan Iranian Revolution tak ada element socialism/communist eh? Masa berlaku budak2 lagi jadi dia macam blur sikit.
Indonesia

That was before the ulama faction took over and the creation of Shura Council and Murshidul Am post.
Islamic Socialism as a framework to solve Muslims' problems is pretty much dead since the end of the Cold War.
No one is touching it. Even more so, PAS.

In the past, there was a lot of overlap between the left-wing Malay nationalists and the Malay Islamists. I recommend this book on the history of PAS
