We want to remind you not to swim in open water even if the water looks calm. Shallow water can feel warmer at the edge of reservoirs, rivers, and lakes. Never jump into open water where deeper water is much colder even in hot weather. Cold water shock can kill in 60 seconds.

@StavesGlyn and Community Payback have done a FANTASTIC job at cutting back overgrowth in Thurcroft. There is a sense of pride seeing our pit tub sitting proudly rather than blending into the background! Next up, block paving clean and pit tub maintenance :)

🧵 2/3: In many of our guests, these steps build confidence, improve health, and give them responsibility and a sense of purpose. Making a positive contribution to their community makes it less likely that people will become #homeless again in the future.
