I emailed the GIPS board president, Hank McFarland, on July 7th encouraging him to sign the petition to put LB 753 on the ballot. Despite requesting a response, I never heard from him. I followed up today. Hope others follow suit. Feel free to email him: boe_hmcfarland@gips.org

First off: You will probably lose. You need to be OK with that. There are a LOT of reasons to run besides winning yourself. If you can move the needle for the top of the ticket a few points in your direction, you've accomplished something and you've built for the future.
