Hendon Football Club is devasted to learn of the passing of Rod Haider, a true club legend. After joining the club in the summer of 1967, Rod made 696 appearances from midfield, scoring 165 goals, including that famous equaliser against Newcastle in 1974. Rod picked up a record 65 caps as an England Amateur International, and won the Isthmian League, FA Amateur Cup, and Barassi Cup with the Greens. He passed aged 82. The thoughts of everyone connected with the club are with Rod's family at this sad time. RIP, Rod, and thanks for the memories. 💚
