It is with sadness that we must report that our President Conway Thorns died on Saturday night, comfortably at home with family present. A titan of this cricket club, he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts go out to Olga and family.

From all at Henfield CC, we pass on our condolences to the family and friends of Mike Newcombe. Mike was one of the good guys in cricket, great fun both on and off the field. He will leave a big whole within @SussexCricketLg and @LCC_swans RIP Newks

A flying visit to Henfield Cricket Club @HenfieldCC today. It claims a founding date of 1771 but cricket was played in the area at least 50 years before this. Now a community club with three men’s teams in the @SussexCricketLg
