@markg80 @henrywinter Merthyr in the north is just bad luck. What do you want them to do, tell them they’re not allowed to come up cos they’d have to be in the north and travel would be too far? PL point is fair but that doesn’t mean they can’t then call out the obvious disparity in relegation places

@HenryCopley @henrywinter Well they want a three up policy for fairness for all teams. Just think they need their own house in order before shouting the odds. Merthyr Tydfil in the "north", jumping into bed with the PL, picking fights with the EFL etc. their own decision making needs scrutiny first

National League 3pm fixtures on Sat Nov 15 will kick off at 3.03pm to promote its campaign for #3UP. The League wants three rather than two promotion places into the EFL. NL also wants clubs across the country, as well as fan groups, players, managers, and politicians to try to persuade the EFL to end its opposition to 3 up. “Our 72 clubs – the majority of whom are over a century old and household names – simply won’t accept the current circumstances blocking them from parity and fairness with all the other professional teams in England,” says NL chair Jack Pearce.
