Had this bybit trader who mistakingly paid me twice the sum of 2,383,800 naira on the 15th of March 2024. I immediately sent him a message on the #Bybit app to reach out to me since he didn't provide his contact information there. I was worried bcuz it's a lot of money to lose.

He doesn't run ads for fraudulent companies. He doesn't scam his fans. He doesn't commit violence. Despite insane street cred, he doesn't egg his goons to violence. Uncle T wasn't coming to check on him in jail. Ibrahim jeun lo. Na bad mouth you get, you no kill person.

Sometimes, you do need focus, boundaries and maybe delayed generosity to come out of poverty. But the problem is when it becomes one’s absolute thinking, like you must ignore your family to succeed. That’s not only harsh, it’s also risky. I’d advise measured support plus strong boundaries. My reason is that, yes family is important, but not every family dynamic is healthy or supportive. Some people aren’t just “in need,” they can be financially draining in ways that slow everyone down. My take is build yourself while supporting your family in a sustainable way. Family is very important tbh, but so is capacity. You don’t have to wait until your cup is overflowing to pour into your people… just don’t pour until you’re empty. Oluwa a ma ranwa lowo 🙏

What if you don’t end up making it too? What if you die too? If you listen to these guys too much, you will just make your family suffer unnecessarily. Do for your family while you can and you are still alive. Don’t allow any motivational speaker spoil your family.

While I don’t fault this, let’s not pretend this is just about one visit too. My issue isn’t whether Gov. Dapo can take a short trip to appreciate the President. My issue is the broader culture of excessive political courtesy visits that often come at public expense. I’ve seen this repeatedly where state governors and top officials traveling in groups to welcome and also see off the President . He travels to his destination and the same crowd appears again. All funded by who exactly? Def not from their own personal pocket! That’s where my concern is. So while this particular visit might seem important on its own, it reflects a larger pattern of governance that prioritizes optics and loyalty displays over cost-efficiency and accountability. This is my take! Regardless Kudos to Gov. Dapo for all the massive projects going on in Ogun state.

You are completely wrong. This photo was taken in Lagos, not Abuja. The President didn’t get the gift Ogun State wanted to present to him on the day, because he had other meetings to attend in Lagos. Anyone who watched the commissioning would see the Governor asking for the gift as the President was taking his leave. So, is it wrong that the Governor did a 1hr trip from Ogun to Lagos, to appreciate and present the President with his gift for taking time to commission the landmark projects in Ogun State? Considering this happened on Easter Monday, which is a public holiday. So, what exactly is the wrongdoing here? Why do we always major in minor?

We lack orderliness as people walahi!and I don’t know if there’s a law that excuses public officials from violating traffic lights and rules? A set of SUV Prados blatantly beat a red light at Maryland today , even at a zebra crossing. Guess what? LASTMA and others just passed them. Why? Unless it’s an emergency tbh which I don’t think it is, why should anyone violate the law?

You know, Sicily is regarded as the "Mad Max Zone" of Italy where people drive with absolute insanity. But even in the mad max zone, this is how road users circulate in rush hours. When you watch this video, just think about the city where you live.

“I am extremely proud. Ogun State is making it a habit of showing Nigerians what a working democracy looks like.." --Roosevelt Ogbonna, CEO Access Bank Plc. The Chief Executive Officer of Access Bank Plc, Roosevelt Ogbonna, has commended the Ogun State Government for creating a business-friendly environment that continues to attract investors. Mr Ogbonna expressed satisfaction with the bank’s role in supporting the airport project, noting that Access Bank remains committed to financing initiatives that drive economic growth and development. In his remarks, Governor @DapoAbiodunCON described Access Bank as a reliable development partner, praising its willingness to support the state’s vision from conception to execution. “They saw the vision from the outset and backed it. A vision without funding is merely a hallucination,” the governor said. He added that the collaboration highlights the importance of strong public-private partnerships in delivering impactful infrastructure and sustaining economic progress.
