When people talk about AFCON, it’s about the vibrancy of colours and song (understandably, because the continent has such a beautiful, diverse range of cultures and traditions), or revolves around flaws and what’s gone wrong (🙄), even largely on how it affects the Premier League… But the quality of football and top-shelf goals deserve to take centre-stage. Africa continues to produce some of the best footballers in the world, and they put on an almighty show for their people.
