Maybe less belief in manifestation and more appreciation and concern for how life actually works.

Shuffling around the edge of eternity.

Reality is some messy business.

They sell you the dream - calm, focus, happiness, love, and wealth- you buy it. But it falls to dust soon enough. What are you left with?

We do say, death is what gives life meaning. So we remember it, to make every moment until death happens, matter. But do we really understand/know what death is?

Being able to distinguish between the inherent pain that is part of a human experience - and the layers of added suffering on top which we add with the vigor and expertise of Michelin star chefs going for their next big price, is what makes me know - I have grown over the years of cooking up life. This was a ridiculously long sentence. Breaking all the rules on reason for online writing. Watch me delight in the images - and ignore the rest.

The inescapable fact of life is that there is something. There is something it's like to be you, and something you're noticing and drawn to. Sometimes it's enough just to be with this feeling and to enjoy and love it.
