Time is more important than price…
Macro: There are strong seasonal tendencies that can be found within all asset classes… if you go through years of “price” data for an asset you will realize that specific months “usually” have more buying/selling done than others.
Micro: There are specific times of the day where price will be manipulated by engineered liquidity, price will at most times spike in the opposite direction of where it wants to go in order to fake out retail traders.

Semanas después, regresó a buscarlo

I know a guy.
Not some Twitter “guru”.
Not some fake Lamborghini clown.
A real trader.
He’s managing over $5,000,000.
Here are his monthly returns for 2023:
January: -0.79%
February: -2.37%
March: +5.29%
April: +3.11%
May: +0.98%
June: +6.20%
July: -3.97%
August: -1.71%
September: -0.14%
October: +6.05%
November: +0.29%
December: -2.08%
Now let me ask you something:
Does that look impressive to you?
If you’ve been brainwashed by social media.. probably not.
Because you’ve been fed absolute crap.
You’ve got clowns online screaming about making 10%, 20%, 50% every single month like it’s normal.
It’s not.
It’s fantasy.
It’s marketing.
It’s lies.
This, what you just saw, is what real trading looks like.
Messy.
Inconsistent.
Sometimes ugly as hell.
Red months.
Red weeks.
Red days.
Sometimes you grind for months and feel like you’re going nowhere.
That’s the game.
Not your dopamine-fueled, get-rich-quick nonsense.
If this disappoints you, good.
You needed a reality check.
Because this is the truth:
Real money doesn’t chase hype.
Real money doesn’t need fireworks.
Real money survives.
You don’t get rich by swinging for the fences like a chimp.
You get rich by not blowing up.
So stop chasing insane, oversized gains.
Start respecting consistency.
That’s what serious investors care about.
Not your lucky streak.
Not your screenshots.
Consistency.
Everything else is noise.

@DodgysDD Haven’t you thought of increasing your risk reward. I learnt the strategy from you but 1:2 is not really much. This strategy will be so great if it can give us 1:5 or 1:6….. what do you think?

@TritonTrades Yes, it’s a model he teaches in the 2023 mentorship, for when price breaks relevant highs or lows like PDH/PDL or a session point. 👀☕️

even though it worked, this is objectively a bad CISD setup
first off, there were perfect equal lows below
and at that point, the H1 rejected the bearish FVG with a massive wick.
my bias was bullish, but when there's such a bearish reaction, I want to wait for more confirmation
going long on a reversal CISD with equal lows below is pattern trading
that's why I only entered on the second Continuation CISD higher
always wait for more confirmation when unsure
