Die Urteile über #COP28 sind allesamt zwiespältig: etwas positiv, einiges negativ, insg. zu wenig. Was niemand fragt: Ob dieser Prozess überhaupt in der Lage ist, seinen Zweck zu erfüllen. Denn im Konsens eine Transformation zu erreichen ist unmöglich.

Der Präsident der @COP28_UAE hat gerade mit einem Hammerschlag das Paket verabschiedet. Das Ergebnis ist zwiespältig: Die Hoffnung bleibt - aber kein klarer Schritt weg von den Fossilen. Wie immer: Viel zu tun und es ist nicht garantiert, dass sich die Welt schnell genug bewegt.

The President of @COP28_UAE has just adopted with one blow of the gavel the package. The result is ambivalent: keeps up hope in the process - but not a clear step away from fossil fuels. As always: much remains to be done and it is not guaranteed that the world moves fast enough.
