@verse_vow_ I see, I'm more about trying to look at the story from within the world rather than trying to figure out why writers did something, so It's hard for me to see it from that perspective. At least now I understand why I often don't agree with other people's view on the story, lol

@HertaFan345 i think even leakers had to do damage control with cn people and affirm them that cyrene and phainon value the protagonist above everything, it was really bad. yeah, it makes sense in the story, but it is not written with good faith

coming back to this led to me the realization that no matter how strongly i love amphoreus i will always consider “hero within” to be one of the biggest writing failures, this thing was just a cheap way to get phainon out of the story to affirm the player’s ego and it’s pitiful
