Just because someone knows your personal information doesn’t mean they’re from a trusted organisation. Don’t assume that a phone call or email is authentic, #TakeFive and question whether it could be a scam. Contact organisations directly to confirm requests are genuine.

Criminals are experts at impersonating senior staff, using spoofed emails to trick you into making an urgent payment or to change payment details for a contract or supplier. Always confirm urgent payment requests directly with the sender in person or over the phone #TakeFive

We've had reports of calls from scammers offering the Covid-19 vaccination & demanding a payment. NO PAYMENT IS REQUIRED! The NHS will never ask for: 🔺your bank account/card details 🔺your pin or banking password 🔺copies of personal docs such as passport or driving licence
