Wind pushed us indoors, but the impact didn’t stop. Young people explored VR scenarios on knife crime & exploitation. Paramedics taught lifesaving CPR & bleed control. NPT officers braved the weather, engaging steady Knife Angel crowds. Real conversations. Real change. 💬👮‍♂️🧠

The Knife Angel has arrived and so our intensive youth engagement continues, last night we worked with @StevenageFC providing fantastic engagement under the knife angel, with numerous young people now signed up to @premierleague Kicks projects around the county ⚽️

Over the past 12 months the CCEPDT have been using VR technology to work with young people exploring knife crime and criminal exploitation. Young people experience scenarios and then have discussions with Police Officers regarding the choices made and the consequences.

I thought I was getting nicked when this nice policeman come on my stall earlier 😂But they want me to spread awareness about stopping knife crime an I couldn’t agree more. Please put down knife. There bins on St Albans high street where you can dispose of your knifes. Bosh❤️
