Just watched #mercy. Chris Pratt always decent and I'm secretly obsessed with Rebecca Ferguson. Plot feels like it might actually be reality very soon, bit of a Minority Report vibe. Well worth a look.

Just watched latest Dracula interpretation. Decent effort. Loved his wife. Blamed God for her death. Spends 400 years looking for her. Looks good, strong cast too, felt sorry for the Count.

In prep for the sequel just watched Ready Or Not. Wild! Makes no sense, but the cast seem to be having fun, doesn't take itself too seriously. If you like utter carnage and rich folk exploding then this is for you.

Just watched Dead Cert. I'm a big @craigfairbrass fan but I didn't see this coming. Gangsters vs vampires. Billy Murray! 30 second Danny Dyer cameo. Wild!

Just watched Shelter, new Jason Statham movie. Winner, if you like what he does. Familiar format, reclusive military, black ops type, has to dust off the skills, carnage ensues.

Just watched My Sister's Bones. Unusual thriller, great cast headed by Jenny Seagrove. Fair to say I didn't see the ending coming.

Just finished Broken Sword The Sleeping Dragon on Xbox. Properly excellent story driven game from early 2000s. Some challenging camera angles, but great story, dialogue and puzzles. Still great visuals too. #RETROGAMING

Really enjoyed The Rip @NetflixUK. Solid lead performances from MattFleck, tense, decent twists and ticked along nicely.

Just absorbed #MayorOfKingstown finale. Good grief it's dark. No winners. No light. But so well written and realised it's hard not to watch. Exhausting.

Oh hi Canada! #67 on the Amazon chart. Thank you! I see it and I love it. Means a lot that something I created in the NW of England is connecting on the other side of the world. #writerLift #kindle

Just watched the latest Now You See Me film. Really enjoyed it. Cast is starting to get hefty, cramming lines into scenes so they all get a turn. But its pacey, looks great, twisty and it's got Rosamund Pike! Easy way to spend an evening.

Mayor of Kingstown is surely one of the darkest shows on tele. Great writing. Amazing dialogue, setting, plot, cast, all that. But darker than the inside of my arsehole. Opening scene S4. Good grief.

Just watched #Pose (twice as i didn't pay attention 1st time). Stilted, but intentional i think. An awkward study of obsession, control. Done quite well by sticking a small group in a small place. Powerful end too. Would it have been good to see the photo? Maybe not.
