DOJ leadership walked away from this trial weeks ago with a weak settlement. This is a moment to celebrate the leadership and courage of state AGs and their talented team of public servants who continued this fight, including Colorado’s @pweiser. If the federal government won’t fight for us, states will!

Politics may be broken, but justice isn't. When the public bears the cost of abuse and corruption, they deserve to render judgment on it. That's why I am proud to have filed this case as DOJ's top antitrust litigator and why we asked for a jury. People know cheating when they see it. Today, they delivered justice in a powerful reminder that no one is above the law. When I promise to continue this fight as Colorado’s next AG, you know that I have the track record and experience to back it up.

🚨🚨🚨 Big News🚨🚨🚨 It's official – we are on the ballot!!! On March 4, we submitted signatures from more than 12,000 Coloradans from across the four corners of the state to petition to get onto the ballot. Today, we received final confirmation that the signatures have been processed -- and we are *officially* on the ballot! Every one of those names is on my mind and in my heart today. These are folks from families like yours and mine. People who shared their worries and hopes. People who are fighting for a better future. People who believe in the power of the law and public service to transform our lives. To every person who has supported us: thank you. This victory belongs to all of us. An all-star double-header last night. First, talked with public health leaders at Colorado Association of Local Public Health Organizations’ (CALPHO) about tackling the out-of-control cost of care. Then joined the Asian American Pacific Bar Association of Colorado to celebrate those who fight for justice every day. It’s a true honor to be in this fight with you!

It was back to school at the University of Colorado School of Law this week! Thrilled to continue my annual tradition of teaching a class on antitrust law and modern antitrust enforcement. Just like years past, I walked away knowing the future is bright because of the brilliant legal minds and fighters @ColoLaw.   Sharp, probing questions.  Searing insights rooted in their own life experience.  They get why the fight against illegal consolidation of power matters – how competition policy isn't some archaic legal principle, it affects everything from our food prices to workers' rights. Also got to hang with a full house of CU Law Dems. Conviction, clarity, and purpose dominated that room, and I am honored to join these future leaders in the fight of a lifetime!

Hearing rumors about new airline mergers and that Trump is a fan of “big deals.” Anyone who’s flown in the last decade knows that these “big deals” may bring a big paycheck for executives (and these days, maybe the White House too), but are often a big, fat loss for travelers who could face higher fares, fewer route and time options, and a worse travel experience.   At DOJ, I led two federal trial teams that blocked these kinds of illegal mergers. And as Colorado’s next AG, I will fight to make the travel experience less miserable, even if the federal government won’t.

Good to catch up with Elizabeth Pond and the @DurangoHerald. There’s so much at stake in this election for southwest Colorado — protecting our immigrant community, water rights, and working families — so having an AG with real courtroom experience is vital. Link: durangoherald.com/articles/color…

Traveling the state on the campaign trail reminds me that government shouldn’t happen to us, but it should be a force fighting for us. Who gets to be an American? Today, the Supreme Court will hear argument on an issue that fundamentally defines who we are. Birthright citizenship shouldn’t be a political football. It’s a covenant — enshrined in our Constitution and in federal statute. It is the foundation of who we are as a nation. As the daughter of immigrants and a first-generation American, this fight is personal to me. But it’s also personal to every family whose story started with someone who bet everything on the promise of this country. Trump doesn’t get to redefine what it means to be an American or a patriot. We know who we are.

Today the Supreme Court struck down Colorado’s ban on conversion therapy for minors—a practice that every major medical organization has condemned as harmful and dangerous. This isn’t about religious freedom—CO law already included a carve out for that. Instead, this ruling undermines the ability of states to protect our residents from discredited and dangerous practices. It sends a message that because the instruments of harm are words, it somehow isn’t harm. The rates of depression and increased risk of suicide clearly contradict that. To the young people in Colorado and our LGBTQ+ community: I stand with you. You deserve safety, respect, and care that’s rooted in science. As your Attorney General, I will fight to protect you from harm—no matter what form it takes.

A great double-header Sunday: tea and conversation with @CBWPA and Coloradans for the Common Good’s Labor Seder. There were lots of laughs and fellowship, but there was also resolve. We are in an existential fight for our values and future. And we are more than ready to take this moment on. 💪🏽

Courtrooms are the battleground for accountability against those who abuse their power. The weapon of choice here? State law. This verdict is a powerful reminder that no matter how powerful you are, justice will find you. Here, that justice was delivered by a jury, which is fitting as it is our communities who pay the price for conduct like this.
