FLL Robotics: Yesterday our USBees Team shared their Innovation Project w/ our @GCISD Energy Specialist Kent Hall. Their prototype takes student “excess” energy via pedal power & converts it to electrical energy to address a constant student need: recharging Chromebook batteries!

All packed for the road trip tomorrow to the @firstlegoleague West Provincials in Oshawa. Last day of prep included swapping game robots, rewriting three missions, reloading all our programs, and reengineering an attachment. Yes, an extremely busy day for the @HethRobo rookies.

Feeling like rockstars when the primaries are in the Nest and we are practicing on the game table. They quickly gather around and ask lots of questions. Great way to promote @firstlegoleague to the younger grades.
