honestly do agree with this ofc it has its bangers but hyped it up for so long and for him to throw a whole new experiment at us was really odd. i fw a lot of songs on here but feel the story wasn’t really there at times and lyrically weird which is what i listen to him for tbh.

exactly this. with the way he spoke of ADL and taking his music to a new level, for it to HONESTLY feel like a downgrade is just so disappointing (imo). but, we know he can have lyrical substance, and we know he’s great, i hope we get an ACTUAL new side of him next 😊

I do kinda agree with dontai tho like yeat has proven he can have good lyrics and tell a story like 2093. It’s the way he hyped up ADL for 2 years, you’d think we were getting something better than 2093 quality. But no just generic lyrics, bar like 4-6 actually good songs.
