@BarrowsBOY Most D&D tweet I’ve ever seen. Most probable answer is dice just sounds cooler/is more straightforward. There’s some linguistic principle about irregular verbs having a timeframe for when populations regularize them (past tense -> -ed). There’s prob one for nouns too.

2 things I really like about boots being gone: 1. you have a much greater build diversity, especially early game. Rushing different first items every game is interesting, as compared to just going boots and only then after can you go an actual item. Definitely adds more depth in the build overall 2. Tank boots was super op so im glad that's gone lol But one thing I greatly, greatly dislike about boots being gone that may overshadow 1. is the fact that everyone rushes a tank item and it makes it so hardly any solo kills happen. This is only an issue in solo lane, but it's really frustrating to hit the other laner for 30 damage for the entire laning phase. Boots made it so you both come to lane level 4-5ish with 40 power and no defense (with the exception of tank boots lol) which was a lot more fun in my personal opinion. Maybe this is a design direction and not actually a problem, but it makes the lane a lot less fun than before. I don't really have the answers on how to change that though, maybe by introducing different items for early game solo lane, but I'm not sure how that would look or function.

@BarrowsBOY Felt the same for the past year or so, some of the games that have not fallen in the rut for me have been fanmade recreations of old games like stalker anomaly, and straight up childhood games like kotor2. I enjoy playing with friends so smite's fun, more so bc of the friends
