@VayenSOL @solana_devs oh yeah. randomness is a hard thing... it mainly depends what you need the randomness for, so how secure it needs to be. your solution is definitly one way to do it but might have some attack vectors (that might or might not be relevant for your usecase)

@HeyAndyS @solana_devs The problem is vrf providers sucked on the devnet therefore ive created my own solution that works everwhere without the need of a third party sir By the way thank you so much for your reply, you are a huge inspiration and a great teacher ❤️❤️❤️

hey andy, so we save slot hash at commit (user_slot) then we make user reveal only 1 slot after and using the user_slot + 1 we generate a random number, so it would stay the same for 500 slots right? we penalize users who want to reveal at the same slot or if the slot hash disappears after 500 slots, so we keep the same random number regardless whenever user wanna reveal, is this a good method ser? I invented this

You’ve spent a significant amount of time developing within this ecosystem, and I know you’ve encountered a wide variety of challenges while working with Solana programs. Your guidance has been invaluable in many respects, particularly when it comes to creating content that very few others are producing. I’d be fascinated to see how you go about staying on top of all the latest developments, specifically, what techniques you employ to dive deep into the code and gain a thorough understanding of what is currently being built. And how could you apply all that experience within an AI agent to accelerate product development?

@HeyAndyS Explorers are the unsung debugging tool. Good block inspection saves hours of guesswork when something breaks in production.

The Solana explorer got a lot of new features lately! Some were obvious, some were hidden. 🕵️ Let's check them out and put them in a tier-list 👇

@HeyAndyS Best video! Gonna watch it again with the family tonight. Mum is asking why you didnt cover program metadata though. She said she uploaded a security.txt file to have an icon for her program. She said that would have been an easy S-tier. Looking forward to part two in a few weeks
