@zooba Both! This helps them understand how things like @login_required work, and they practice tracing code flows that are not top-to-bottom. Before this lesson, if they observe behavior that isn’t explained by reading the code like an english article, they assume something is broken!

@HeyChelseaTroy You were teaching how to use them? Or how to write them? I wonder why writing new decorators would/should come up in a course for new developers, except as a way to illustrate first class functions (and you want to avoid sorted() for some reason...).

@Sardarrrrrrr This is Windy, the world's foremost expert on getting into the feed room without getting caught. We ended up using bungee cords to secure all the feed lids, all the doors (locking was not enough), and the on-switch for the table saw (which lived in the feed room).
