so even if no glasses, i think yes definitely EMG-enabled devices (e.g. neural wristband & alterego). which is super cool if true because it’s a move from humans having to learn the language of machines (typing, swiping) to machines learning to natively read human biology as input. feels like a pretty fundamental upgrade in how we interact with tech.

i have gripes with glasses. as of now there's a few seemingly insurmountable issues stopping them from replacing phones: -having a camera on your face 24/7 is creepy. way too weird to have a normal convo w/ someone wearing a camera you're making eye contact with - just like it'd be weird if someone pointed their phone camera at you for an entire chat. AR glasses will have a tough time going mainstream with cams that are socially icky (even though the concept of live AI seems super useful) -sharing stuff is awkward/impossible. if i see a tweet on my phone, i can just show someone. if i see something on my glasses... what do i do? sure, i could send it to them, but then you lose out on the whole communal "watching together" aspect -the only group photos will be mirror pics (could be a vibe tbh)
