Tom Holland says he has an autumn color palette! “When I was a kid, my mom took me over to her friend's house, who does that color test thing where they drape all these different [fabric hues] on you. I found out I was an autumnal person and have stuck very religiously to that.”

Tom Holland commends the use of practical effects in Christopher Nolan’s ‘THE ODYSSEY’: “There were certain sequences in the movie where I’m watching it and I’m just sort of thinking like, ‘How on earth has he done that? That has to be CG.’ And then after the movie asking him, ‘That was definitely CG, right?’ And he’s like, ‘No, no, no, that’s all in camera effects. Tom Holland on what appeals to him when picking new scripts: “There’s so many different factors that go into the decision-making process of making a film. I’m very director-focused and eager to work with people that are going to challenge me and push me in ways that I haven’t been before. The script is obviously almost as equally important as whoever’s going to direct the film. So really, I spent a lot of time this year taking general meetings with writers to better understand the process, to better understand how much work goes into making these scripts. It’s very easy to read the first 30 pages and go, ‘No, I’m not really into this.’ And I find myself now more and more like, ‘No, someone spent a year writing this. I can give them two hours of my time to finish this script.’”

Tom Holland on his experience filming ‘The Odyssey’: “I can tell you that it is an absolute masterpiece, and I’m taking myself out of that equation. Chris Nolan’s movie is fantastic. It’s unlike anything that I’ve ever seen before. I think when I saw the movie, I found myself asking a question that I haven’t asked about a movie for a long time, which is, ‘How did you do that?’”
