This week, 3 of our clients attended a self-care course at the Chocolate Factory, taking positive steps towards rebuilding their confidence and wellbeing. It’s small steps like these that lead to lasting change.

We could not manage without the food donations we receive from supermarkets and bakeries across Harrogate. Today’s breakfast sandwiches and lunchtime soup were freshly prepared by our chef, Caius, thanks to @BakeriBaltz, @LidlGB and @waitrose. 🥖🥕

💫 We had the most magical, inspirational and uplifting day on Tuesday! As part of our 12-month engagement with @swintonestate , as their Charity of the Year, a dozen clients visited the estate to enjoy a walk through the beautiful grounds and meet Head Gardener, Joe.

Joe gave a really informative talk about his horticultural career and experiences and then presented us with a huge box of asparagus for our chef to turn into delicious soup the following day!

Everyone was full of gratitude for the wonderful welcome and hospitality we received and the opportunity it gave to stroll past magnificent rhododendrons, observe the deer herd and sit for a while beside the beautiful wild swimming lake.

As one of our clients shared: “Just having someone ask how I was — and really listen — made a bigger difference than I expected.” A reminder that even small actions can make a big impact.

Today, one of our groups has headed out on a minibus trip to @swintonestate for a walk around the grounds — with more activities planned throughout the week.
