@miss_dqx Race has little impact in FF14, just play what you think is cute! But if you REEEEALLY want to min-max for like 2-3 points of extra healing? Moon Miqote, Dunesfolk Lala, Raen AuRa, or Hrothgar. Basically anything with a high Mind stat.

@thalassianbunny At this point in FF14 it doesn't matter bc the job system has been severely homogenized and stripped of its identy, so you're really only choosing what skin you'd want for your 3 main roles. Evercold could potentially rectify this, but its yet to be seen.

@LapisArsene Sadly FF14 dropped a lot of cool features like this in lieu of accessibility for the casual audience; I think it was too high of a cost. I miss the depth these kinds of MMOs used to have, it was like truly living in another reality!

4 monster types? Does FF14 do this? In FFXI, there's normal monsters that detect you through sight, but also ones that detect by sound, spell casting, and monsters that will only attack you when you're weak or near-death. #FFXI #FinalFantasy

@cinnamontoastk From the way you're framing it: red seems like the logical choice, where blue is the moral choice. In terms of game theory if everyone picks red or everyone picks blue, everyone is spared, but people will always disagree on everything, no matter what. So the safest choice is red.

This red button/blue button discourse is wild. 100% red saves everyone no consequence 51% of blue saves everyone no consequence 51% red kills all of blue but they frame it like its blues fault they had to kill them even though red is the only choice that causes anyone to die.

@yamanakanobody Most of our cities are not walkable and our public transportation is shoddy. Add in the fact that if you live in a place like Texas, the next biggest city is always usually a 3 hour drive away, it makes it kind of necessary. All thanks to the motor-vehicle lobby 🥴
