25 days in the #我的刀盾 CTO.
Time for a status report on what the dog doing.
Let's start with the numbers:
In these 25 days the X community grew from 0 to 6,000 members. And im talking about real members - community mods work around the clock removing bots, spam and phishing links. On top of an existing 3,000 community that was completely abandoned before we took over. For context, older and more established communities like Punch are sitting at the same number.
In these 25 days we generated over 3,000 pieces of original content. Videos, absurd edits, memes, literally anything you can imagine. I've watched this community put a dog with a sword and a shield into every scenario known to man and not a single one missed.
Most people will scroll past that number without understanding what it actually means. 3,000 unique pieces of content created by a bunch of strangers who came together over a meme. That level of output requires a kind of delusion that you can't fake or even buy. It also requires the people doing this to actually be having fun - because nobody is getting paid for any of this. Everyone who's here is here because they want to be. Because they feel like they belong to something special. And they do. A handful of projects straight up stole our memes and launched on every chain with every possible ticker. All of them had their five minutes of fame and disappeared into the void. Because you can copy content but you can never copy the community behind it.
In these 25 days we generated over 2.3 million impressions on the @whatthedogdoins account. From an account that's less than a month old and spent the first half of its life shadowbanned with limited reach. But you can't contain a meme that's spreading like that.
And in these 25 days I must have hit the translate button on X maybe a thousand times. Japanese, Chinese, Europeans, Americans - all sharing their own memes, their own thesis, their own edits. In their own language. Without anyone asking. This dog didn't just build a community. It built a borderless one. And I don't think people have fully processed what that means yet.
As i had said in a previous post, I've been here long enough to have watched Pepe and WIF launch. 5 billion dollar memes don't look like 5 billion dollar memes to most people early on. They look like a small group of delusional bagworkers who won't shut up. Then the ceilings start breaking and slowly everyone catches on.
The dog is already breaking ceilings.
It's just a matter of time before you see it too.
