Here comes the judges - Part 3. Judge Jessica Goodey (@jmgoodey) and Judge Jessica Peterson stop by Hickey ES for #NevadaReadingWeek. They discussed how important reading is to be a judge and even had the kids gavel in their class.

We had two recently retired Eastside principals @LeaderAdamsAJ & @margaritah1971 return to the classroom for a day to read to the students at Hickey Elementary. The kids enjoyed it a lot and thank you for being apart of #NevadaReadingWeek

Everyone had fun when Abraham Camejo and Stephen @Silberkraus visited Hickey Elementary for #NevadaReadingWeek. Abraham brought his daughter who loved Hickey and Stephen brought some cool items that had been in space for the kids to see.

We were glad to have representatives from our local universities with @NevadaStateU ‘s @LopezLasater & @CBER_UNLV’s @woodsgoods stopping by Hickey ES for #NevadaReadingWeek. They talked about the importance of higher education and how it helps people become successful.

Here comes the judges - Part 1. During #NevadaReadingWeek, the kids are always excited when the judges stop by Hickey Elementary. Judge Nadia Krall and Judge Jacob Reynolds are two of the many judges to read to kids this week. Thank you both for coming.

Readers @Phillips4Nevada and @nan4nevada came by Hickey Elementary for #NevadaReadingWeek. Stephanie has been a long-time supporter of our school and Nancy spent two hours reading to kids. Both of you are amazing!
