I may be ignorant to more details but that’s why I’m asking this question What is the African dance tradition that influenced and lead to Vogue dance style? I remember watching the film and saying hmm no tap dancers but then realized tap dance wasn’t in the line up because of its origin has such high Irish influence hence the Irish dance scene that had the footwork. So with the conversation being held now about vogue dance style not being included in Sinners. I’m curious if I’m just not aware of its trace to a traditional African dance cause wasn’t that what the scene was about how the dances traced back and been here for centuries
