You'll see Lawrence Oyor or Godswill(I do usually mix them up) hum a very wonderful melody with great chants and all and the next thing you'll hear is "Everyone who blesses me is blessed, everyone who favors me is favoured". This thing dey piss me off greatly.

At some point, if a person is introspective enough, they’ll acknowledge the absolute supremacy of Jesus Christ and submit to him.
He wasn’t a religious leader, he was God as man. His virgin-birth is NOT a myth. Same as his miracles. His crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection aren’t a myth. These things happened. Man is left with no excuse. If anyone rejects the gospel, it’s a wilful decision. For that, judgement is the end result.
Jesus offered a way of escape from the coming wrath. This is why it’s called Salvation.

As a believer you cannot survive these times without prayer.
Temptations are increasing.
Distractions are everywhere.
Sin is now celebrated openly.
If your altar of prayer is dead, your flesh will naturally become stronger than your spirit.

When you meet "Jesus lovers" who do not rate the Bible, you should already know that the version of Jesus they love is an idol who is too dumb to speak the word of truth.

The church's tone about sin will determine if our Saviour will be perceived as the God who gave His best to save us from the worst or just a bored deity who is wooing humans to His side because he loves the company of great and special humans.
Sin must be spoken about with the grave seriousness that it deserves.
Until the sinner recognises how dead his trespasses have made him and how urgently he needs the lifeblood of the only Saviour.
Until then, altar calls will keep appearing like men doing God a favour by identifying with Him, and evangelical crusades will become just another socio-religious recruitment strategy that polishes depraved humans into better-behaved sinners who are still estranged from the family of God.

Christians are not going to influence the world by having a desire for influence.
Christian influence is often "not deliberate" because the priority is about pleasing God not taking over!

Sinners are welcome to church.
As long as the church is true to its essence and mission, we should be glad that sinners are drawn to the message of God's love and the gathering of the saints.
But if the church is more skilled in loving the world and affirming them than converting sinners and exalting Christ and His cross, I think Satan will be quite happy with the church spending so much to get sinners into our midst only to make them twice as much citizens of Hell.

The ungodly used to avoid church and preaching because such atmospheres convicted them of sin and reminded hearts that there was a consequence for rejecting God's loving grace.
But Unbelievers today love the church because it is cool and fashionable.
They love gospel music because it is enjoyable and trendy.
They love preaching because it is humorous and fun.
They love prayer because it serves as a good mask, giving others a favourable impression of them.
They also seem to like Jesus, although they don't believe He must be worshipped or obeyed.
Some consider these changes as progress in terms of reaching the lost.
I respectfully do not think so.
