Brenda Fassie was one of my favorite artists growing up, I had all her cds, concert videos, songs, albums, my mom introduced me to her music.
My mother also recognized that I was gay, way before I could put a word to it and would try to scare me by saying Brenda fassie died because she was a lesbian, that didn’t stop me sha. Made me love her even more, If I perish I perish!😂

I finally watched THE PHOENICIAN SCHEME and it’s probably my favorite Wes Anderson movie of this decade by quite a bit. I’m fine with his films no longer making me emotional as much as they make me laugh with their “Looney Tunes go European” antics.
