@DanielleFong That isn't pumping in exhaust fumes it's redirecting some of the intake into the cabin. Very clever. High bypass jet engines are really turbofans with only one moving part.

wow, planes pump air directly from the engine into the cabin it's called 'bleed air' or when toxic fumes get mixed: 'eau de Boeing' time to start flying with a mask again
