Small tips based on my own experience and character design process 💜

If I use a real life photo I've taken to trace over is that... idk... bad? Like if I take a photo of my cat and use that as a drawing ref and trace over said photo but add my own little touch to details and whatnot. I have a hard time imagining and referring to poses without tracing 🥲

I haven’t had emotes comms in like forever. So I want to try changing my emotes style into my newer style (more “painted” render instead of cell shading, a bit different face style). Would anyone like a slot for 4 (70$) or 5 (85$) emotes for me to try?

@bananahimeko I hope people aren't mean to you about your designs. If the ones I see on your vgen portfolio are your designs I love them!!! Even if they aren't your art is beautiful

I think I'm gonna stop making custom designs and focus more on adopts or reference sheets (that have designs ready). I feel like I am really bad at making custom designs and I kept disappointing my clients. I know it is a sign to practice more but I'll stop for now.
