There are so many YP who won't even get the pleasure of shite grades. I see you. For what it's worth (& if you're a parent/carer tell your YP), I was excluded from every school I went to so no grades for me for me at 16. Have worked for myself/ran my own business for 13 years, authored books, travelled the world with work and now doing my PhD at @UniofOxford Here's the thing... Progress! There's now a shortcut to the Accessibility Settings on Glow managed Chromebooks so pupils should be able to easily use text-to-speech, voice typing, live captions and adjust the keyboard and mouse settings.

The Newsetter also has a list of apps and extensions that can be added to Glow-managed Chromebooks, including accessibility tools such as Clicker, Read&Write, Immersive Reader. Your local authority has to approve these. glowconnect.org.uk/docs/google-wo…

This is great! Now just need to make sure everyone knows this is possible. @CALLScotland team will be raising awareness of these really useful apps and extensions to support learners with ASN who are using chromebooks.
