It’s #SaferInternet Week at Highshore, and we’re following the SMART Rules! Stay (S)afe, don’t (M)eet up, be careful (A)ccepting files, make sure info is (R)eliable and (T)ell someone if there’s a problem! Abdul has led informative assemblies on AI as we look to equip our pupils!

It’s December! Which means we’re in full swing as we prepare for our Winter Shows! Lots to look forward to over the next 3 weeks!

Our theme of the week this week is Road Safety! Pupils are learning all about road awareness and Heather is leading assemblies!

Our theme this week is in preparation of #RemembranceDay next week. Pupils are learning all about the importance of this day, and Amy is leading assemblies. Our themed work is on the powerful symbol of the Poppy.

Happy #Diwali! Our theme this week will be all about exploring this yearly festival! There will be assemblies, the Pupils and staff will learn Signs linked to Diwali, and we’ll do some work discovering the importance of the celebrations!

This week, our learning theme is #BlackHistoryMonth! Julian will be leading assemblies and setting up some work for our pupils.

This week our theme is: #TheBigDraw! This is the biggest festival and celebration of drawing in the world! This year’s theme is ‘Drawn Together’, which reminds us how creativity and drawing unites us as a universal language! Oli will lead our theme assemblies! We can’t wait!

Our theme this week is #worldpoetryday! Our pupils will learn all about poems in assemblies, and there will be a competition to see who can write the best limerick or acrostic poem! Fun!

Our theme of the week this week is #recycling! Learning about how to be sustainable citizens is key to life at Highshore. This week, pupils will learn about the benefits of recycling.

Happy Monday! Our theme this week is First Aid! With #firstaidawareness day approaching, it’s really important that our pupils know the benefits of learning first aid and how to ask for help when they need it!

Our Theme this week has been all about welcoming back our pupils, staff and families!

Today we say goodbye to our Y14s! We're excited to see what they do next. On Tuesday, they celebrated together at their prom. Huge thanks to @WeAreFooditude for sponsoring the event and providing an incredible cake and gifts!

Yesterday we had our careers fair! Thank you so much to all of our attendees for such a valuable experience!

Exciting times as we enter our final half term of the year! Invites went out yesterday for our graduation and prom, as well as our KS5 careers fair! There's plenty to look forward to!
