So… I essentially blew most of my accounts today, on the exact day I could have locked in a massive payout. I lost composure after getting wicked out at 9:45:45 (yes I know there news, I was arrogant to it) on the long that would’ve secured the payout across multiple firms I’m copy trading. The Topstep accounts still have plenty of drawdown remaining, but the rest of the 40 accounts I was copy trading are effectively gone due to sizing difference. I’ve been copy trading these 40 accounts for a while now because I normally trade low frequency with light size due to me managing across six firms simultaneously. But the reality hit today, slow progress with small size while aiming for large payouts every couple of months creates a situation where one emotional day can erase months of work. So the plan now is simple: reset. I’ll be starting fresh with 20 Apex accounts alongside what remains of the Topstep accounts and focus on more efficient, quicker payouts. Once I’ve cycled through a few successful payouts again, I’ll scale back into copy trading across the other firms. Just like to be accountable for those who follow me and see all the wins and think that is all that occurs... days like this happen, annoying as it is, we move forward.
