Again dj was great at the off platform throws when you post a video of something he was already good at it seems to me and others that he’s not working on the stuff that matters aka the footwork and the must make throws. Unfortunately perception is reality in this world. I’m not taking a dig on DJ he has an nfl caliber arm and body type… injuries are a part of the game I’m glad he’s going somewhere to get a fresh start close to home… But I think u and I can agree the play last year was not up to his level, your, or gator nations… I get that a flashy video gets people hyped up but the people that watched every single one of is throws knows year 2 Dj was like you said not the same as year 1…

Pocket presence is being calm when everything around you is chaotic knowing you can trust your training, craftwork, and footwork! That was how he was year 1. Pre-Season Heisman candidate type of Hype right. But Forced to skip a whole off season and he was totally disconnected from what he was when he came up here. Which is what we saw year 2. So the DJ you seen and loved came from this type of work the one you were mad at came from some other shit he not used too. We welcomed chaos and laughed in its faced year 1. That OLine was terrible last year and our QB footwork didn’t help with how erratic they were but now no matter what 5 we have infront of us our feet will know how to function for us to be our most effective. Secondly… We already worked him being routine in his alignments off his drop and hitch having small resets and moving his feet not stopping and starting which kills his energy and flow. We tied his eyes and feet back together with rhythm and flow. So my guess is you didn’t see our past videos a month or two back when we worked the stuff he really needed first and you just seeing this loll. I’ll post some more though cause I see you so invested in his development still. Now we getting back to the fun stuff and the stuff that makes him really special. Honestly I thought in order to be a professor you gotta do some research and be certified. I guess we throw any title around these days. So understand this DJ threw almost 95 percent of his throws off platform when he didn’t have too. That’s a huge problem and he was even seeing it till he got back here. That could have been fixed easy if attention was spent watching his alignment with how he got set up for routes and concepts. Instead it was neglected. So with no pressure DJ was still erratic with his feet and when there was pressure he was even more erratic with his feet and did not intentionally put them where they would make him the most effective. Year 1 DJ had this year 2 DJ did not.

The off platform throws were never the issue it was pocket presents, reading defenses, and footwork! This is not helping this young man at all!!!
