All lanes have now reopened on the #M5 in #WestMidlands southbound between J1 #WestBromwich and J2 #Oldbury following emergency repairs. There are delays in excess of 10 minutes on the approach with 1 mile of congestion.

Emergency resurfacing have been completed by @worcscc. The #A38 has reopened both ways between the #M5 J5 entry and exit slip roads. There is no impact to traffic travelling on the M5, in either direction, wishing to exit at J5.

Collision investigation and recovery works are now complete. The #A38 has reopened both ways between the #M5 J5 entry and exit slip roads. A lane closure will remain in place while contractors are arranged to carry out overnight resurfacing works. We'll keep you updated.
