@patrick_kidd Hi Patrick - I`m afraid you have incorrectly described the Sobers 6x6. The fielder, Roger Davis, actually fell backwards across (not stepped over ) the ropes. Had the regulations been as per 1967, Sobers would have been out. There was a new Law for 1968.

@patrick_kidd Hi Patrick - As Hon Sec of the ACS and 1st XI scorer to Glamorgan. I was very interested by your "veterans" team, which excludes the two of the most successful bowlers in Championship cricket since 2013 in Chris Rushworth (Durham) and Michael Hogan (Glamorgan).
English

@patrick_kidd Hi Patrick - as a former geography teacher, I really enjoyed your Places XI. I wondered how close Anthony Ireland, ex Middx and Glos. was to selection??
When Head of Geography at Wells Cathedral School, I believe I had the perfect address - it was 1 Penn Close, Wells, Somerset.

@HignellAndrew (I believe Batty at 43 is still on Surrey's books but I was restricting the side only to those who have played in the championship this season and he hasn't)

@antgib Enjoying the commentary here in Cardiff prior to lockdown! Perhaps you could remind Nick that the beauty of the system proposed for 2021is that at the start of the season, everyone has a chance of winning the title, not just the top division. e.g. Derbyshire in 2020
