You can go with Asus, Acer and Lenovo, pls avoid HP (poor build). Also make sure to buy extended warranty (from manufacture only) on it as with any problem support executives (from any brand) have a habit of declaring motherboard dead/faulty. If you can tell me the exact use case, I can help you with exact models.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 (𝗖𝗞𝗦)! 𝗯𝘆 @linuxfoundation This one was the toughest of all the Kubernetes Certs, not because the scenarios are complex or lengthy, but because most of them deal directly with core Kubernetes components like the API Server and Kubelet. A small YAML or config mistake can easily break things, and suddenly, kubectl stops working, or components fail to start. And since the exam moves quickly, there’s very little time to debug. 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺 ⬇︎ 𝟭. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗸𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹 If you are wondering why, there can be cases where kubectl is not working. In such cases, you should know where to find logs from and how to inspect core components pods (𝗵𝗶𝗻𝘁: 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗹). 𝟮. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟯 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘀 - 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗡!! Time goes by very quickly in the exam, so it’s better to move on and come back to it later, that is, if you still have time left. 𝟯. 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘀 You can technically look them up in the Kubernetes documentation during the exam, but searching for them during the exam can waste precious time. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀: I recommend the @KodeKloudHQ CKS course & CKS Ultimate Mock Series for hands-on practice, along with the @killercoda CKS scenarios. Also, with CKS done, my #Kubestronaut journey is now wrapped up! #Kubernetes #K8s #DevOps #CloudNative #CKS #DevSecOps #ContainerSecurity #KubernetesSecurity #CNCF #OpenSource #LinuxFoundation #TechCommunity

I’m officially a 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿 (𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗗)! by @linuxfoundation While preparing for CKAD, I assumed it would be simpler than CKA, since it focuses on application-level resources such as Pods, Deployments, Services, and Jobs. But what actually makes this certification challenging (and honestly quite fun) is the 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗 at which you need to work with Kubernetes. I got 17 scenarios. Most are conceptually simple, but some are quite lengthy, and you only have 2 hours. So the tricky part is not the tasks themselves, but getting them done quickly. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱: 1. @KodeKloudHQ 𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗗 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: lnkd.in/gzewAWGQ 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: The mocks in the KodeKloud CKAD course are quite simple, so I wouldn’t rely on them alone. 2. @killercoda 𝗖𝗞𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀: lnkd.in/gVehCwSz Overall, the CKAD certification was really fun and a great hands-on experience with Kubernetes. 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁: 𝗖𝗞𝗦! 🎯

𝗜’𝗺 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 (𝗖𝗞𝗔)!  𝗯𝘆 @linuxfoundation After being involved in the @kubernetesio community for a long time, I eventually realised that there is a massive difference between understanding the ecosystem and actually managing it. You have to get your hands dirty with what everyone likes to call the "𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹" to see how those concepts actually live and breathe. So I decided to go for CKA. A few brutally honest tips I learned along the way I’ll be honest, the exam is challenging (in a good way), the recent syllabus updates are no joke, "𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆". 𝟭. 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀, "𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲", The exam is significantly lengthy now (16 Scenarios). If a task doesn't click in the first few minutes, flag it and move on. Focus on completing the tasks you are 100% sure about first. Managing those two hours is just as vital as knowing kubectl. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝘆𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀, Tasks around Helm and core K8s resources will be pretty straight-forward, but the new tasks around Gateway API and Troubleshooting tasks can really eat up your time. You can’t just wing them; You need to understand how everything fits together. 𝟯. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 @_killer_shell Shell 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 (2 sessions included with registration) to get familiar with the exam environment. 𝟰. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆, Solve as many scenarios and mocks as possible. Remember, this isn’t an MCQ-based exam, it’s 100% hands-on. I practiced on @KodeKloudHQ mocks and labs, and @killercoda CKA Scenarios 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗽: If you’re a Mac user, spoiler alert: Cmd key (Cmd + C) won't work in the terminal. Start practicing with Ctrl key (Ctrl + C) early to avoid fighting your own muscle memory (every sec counts) If you’ve passed the CKA recently, feel free to drop more tips in the comments! #Kubernetes #CKA #CloudNative #CNCF #OpenSource #K8s #DevOps #SRE #PlatformEngineering #CloudComputing #InfrastructureAsCode #LinuxFoundation #TechCommunity #ContinuousLearning #Kubestronaut #SoftwareEngineering #Cloud #SystemAdministration #Certification

I recently cleared the Kubernetes and Cloud Security Associate (#KCSA) certification as part of my #Kubestronaut journey. While preparing for this exam, the concept of security genuinely sparked my interest. It also made me realise how many attacks and data breaches trace back to unclear access and weak isolation. For anyone wondering, these are the resources I used: 𝟭. @KodeKloudHQ 𝗞𝗖𝗦𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲: lnkd.in/gdXQg2CR 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗽: This course focuses on Kubernetes (K8s) security concepts. If you do not know K8s concepts in general, I highly recommend first watching the Kodekloud 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲: lnkd.in/gKVtxBgP 𝟮. @udemy 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗕𝘆 Casper Nilsen: lnkd.in/gZE7HVHR Also, a huge thanks to the @CloudNativeFdn and @linuxfoundation for such a fantastic learning ecosystem. Curious what you’ve been learning these days. #NewYear #NewBeginnings #Kubernetes #CloudNative #KubernetesSecurity #CloudSecurity #DevOps #CNCF #Kubestronaut #LearningInPublic

hi all, I took the CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification exam yesterday and am happy to share with yall that i cleared the exam with an overall score of 81 (could have been better?). Finally, my YAML-induced headaches have been recognised by the Linux Foundation, and it turns out all those hours wrestling with YAML, pods, and containers weren’t in vain. On to the next certification, because why stop at just one kube-context? :)
