This is a view into Chambers Cove. A beautiful place with a tragic history. It was the site of the shipwreck of the USS Truxton, lost in February 1942.

Wondering what to do this weekend? Visit the Seamen’s Museum in Grand Bank - site of the largest mural in eastern Canada, an extensive exhibit on everything nautical and a travelling exhibit on dolls. This museum is operated by The Rooms.
