@byu_sam Yes, it's a huge issue and I'm honestly not sure how to fix it. You can have AI rewrite papers so Ithenticate can't catch stuff. Google lens can't really find copied figures. It's extremely difficult to defend against.

@HikesWithDogs00 re-finding this today. I'm very surprised how many commenters on this thread and the newer one said they had similar thing happen to them.

Well, it happened. I am reviewing a paper that is 100% plagiarized from my work. 🔥🔥 not 100% like "I'm certain it's plagiarized", but 100% like "every figure is from my public GitHub repo linked in the paper they are copying". Editor friends - how does one review this?
