The NBA has absolutely no aura. I just watched a game for five minutes. Dude comes up the court and carries the ball three times. Passes. Next dude travels. It looks like a low energy version of Harlem Globetrotters without the entertainment or tricks. It’s not even basketball.

The new Kentucky AD should probably come from the South, and not only understand the Kentucky basketball heritage, but they especially have to know SEC football and how to be a conference contender.
Baseball a plus, but it’s not a substitute for basketball or football.

His dad didn’t think Jim could sing or was a good singer. His dad was a military man, so… maybe music wasn’t his line of expertise. Dunno.
Do know— Jim was an exceptional singer. Even when his voice cracks and yodels, he still sounds like what the song requires.
