Recycle those Christmas cards! Most cards are paper based and can be recycled with their envelopes. Simply place in your blue-lidded bin ready for collection. Watch out for ribbons, glitter or bows which can’t be recycled. Remove these by tearing that part of the card.

If you have any leftover plastic items this New Years Day, remember to recycle them. Plastic tubs, bottles and food trays can all be recycled. Quickly rinse, squash and place in your blue-lidded recycling bin. Top tip! Keep any lids on as this makes it easier to recycle them.
