They hired an ACTUAL artist to PAINT a meme in the style of the ai ones to poke fun at them. Would’ve been so easy to ai generate something for the movie but they held themselves to a higher standard which I really really respect.

Cyberpunk goes out of its way to show that Jackie was completely out of his league even before the heist began. He was never going to make it to the Big Leagues; his tragedy is that V is so genuinely important that even their best friend won’t be a footnote in their lives. It’s really quite clever. Jackie seems like a shadow in V’s life, but the inverse is true by the time you get to the end - Jackie is entirely swallowed by V’s monumental status and shadow by the end of the game. Did you think about him even once in the final act, unless explicitly prompted?
