With the unveiling of the first RO Plant in Jam Kanda, McDonald's Pakistan and Hisaar Foundation are bringing clean, safe drinking water to a community of over 4,500 people. Inaugurated by Amin Lakhani, CEO McDonald's Pakistan, and Jamil Mughal, MD McDonald's Pakistan, the project is designed to serve the hospital, midwifery school, and nearby households. This initiative is a key part of McDonald's ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life in underserved areas, ensuring safer, healthier living conditions while promoting positive water and hygiene practices. McDonald's has partnered with Hisaar Foundation for its Saaf Pani initiative to provide safe drinking water to underserved communities in Karachi. As part of this collaboration, Hisaar Foundation is responsible for identifying deserving communities and installing water systems.

Hisaar Foundation has begun the distribution of food packs to deserving families in Ramazan, with the first round conducted on Sunday, 8th March in Badin District. Through this initiative, 100 families received essential food support, helping ease household needs during Ramazan.
