@mcgillmd921 Hot take but I think Hadrian was a bad emperor. He took Rome at its greatest height and offensive capacity and stopped the capacity. The wall required constant maintenance and the financial drain of building the wall was exorbitant. Also it weakened the capacity of the legions.
