The new migration bill passed by the UK Parliament violates the country’s international human rights and refugee law obligations. High Commissioner for Human Rights @volker_turk and I share grave concerns in this respect. Here is our joint statement👇🏻 unhcr.org/news/press-rel…

@DCBMEP the only person undermining Parliamentary Sovereignty is Boris when he sack Conservative MPs for disagreeing with him. When he attacks a Parliamentary Committee! That is the sovereign power of Parliament. If he really believes what he says then he should respect them.
David C Bannerman@DCBMEP

If a court of law, Boris would be immediately appealing to Court of Appeal or even Supreme Court but they are literally above the law. Parliamentary sovereignty is being trashed by the behaviour of this privileges committee.

Once again deep and thought provoking. Made me think about my classroom, my school and my colleagues and how to make learning better.

So, Johnson goes out whining like a stuck pig about Remainer dark forces and a witch hunt; not an ounce of contrition, self-reflection, or dignity. What a pathetic man-child he is.

Boris Johnson has served our country and his constituency with distinction. He led world in supporting Ukraine, got Brexit done, and was our most electorally successful Prime Minister since Margaret Thatcher. Boris is a political titan whose legacy will stand the test of time.

In today's #LearningFromTheEdges @GentAhmetaj & @RossGarnerMT consider the need to slow down client's expectations to increase learner success. Great learning solutions need good briefing, thinking & evaluation. kairosmodernlearning.co.uk/podcast/ #Podcast #Learning #Development #Friction
