Tie dye day!

The Hive 11 Crew orbited Earth on Friday. We are learning about sources of light and shadows. On Monday we will learn about solar and lunar eclipses. #ourbmsa

The annual bee hunt was another hit! #ourbmsa

Pioneer day in first grade. We dressed up, made butter, coffee, whipped cream, and dolls. We went tech free and even had a “fireplace” to keep warm. #ourbmsa

Our new PBL! We will be studying the 1800’s. We started with our partner presentation. Now we are investigating the clothes/stores of the past. We even explored the career of a blacksmith. #ourbmsa

Tracking temperature change throughout the day using negative numbers on the number line. We even through in some 24 hour time stamps. #ourbmsas

First grade using their knowledge of maps to track Snow Storm Fern. We also looked at rulers to help us visualize the predicted snow accumulation in parts of the country. #ourbmsa

First graders created 2026 vision boards to help them with setting goals and understanding our personal agency attribute. #ourbmsa

First grade has been busy studying animals, maps, and landforms the past month. All our learning is coming together in our final diorama project. #ourbmsa

Students from the high school created Lego models of playgrounds throughout history to help us with our PBL. It was so exciting for the younger learners to see what they can do later on in their journey at Bio-Med. Thank you Brick Masters for helping us with our PBL#ourbmsa

First grade has been studying natural playgrounds to try and build one at our school. We took a trip to Wingfoot Lake State Park to do some research and have fun! The kids don’t know yet, but a section of the park was a small hint leading up to our PBL in the spring! #ourbmsa

Our PBL problem is designing an old fashioned playground. We used addition to help us build different structures during our math lesson. #ourbmsa
