Sugar and carbohydrates DON’T cause a cancer recurrence Annabelle Croft was a guest on @gabbylogan podcast where she shared information about her husband’s colon cancer diagnosis. Annabelle had been led to believe that sugar and carbohydrates feed cancer cells, and her husband followed a ketogenic diet based on protein with a small amount of fat Annabelle was given the wrong advice There is NO evidence that sugar makes cancer come back Cancer cells are sneaky. They will use anything for fuel - sugar, carbs, protein or fat. They don’t care. And every carb is broken down to sugar - veg, fruit, nuts and seeds. The @wcrfuk recommends that every cancer patient follows a plant-based diet to ensure you get the vitamins, minerals and fibre that your body needs. Double check any claim you see online with sensible resources like @cr_uk And if you want a deeper dive into sugar and cancer, read my new book - The Cancer Roadmap

I’ve just been sent this by a friend. I’m incredibly proud of my parents for bravely telling @BBCNews their story & why they believe the #AssistedDyingBill will put vulnerable people at risk.

My take on this platform end of 2024 It was broken before but is worse now. Yet it works … just More and more of the “sensible” voices have fallen silent … … yet they still lurk here, unable to give up their hit. None of the other platforms work - don’t kid yourself. So what to do? When the world is run by idiots?

@BSaunders30 @GINursing Thank you Ben! Your presentation was super interesting and I loved the video. It was fascinating that the first few parts of your talk and mine were very similar- patients needs not being recognised/talked about/managed… until now ☺️
